CGSA members and the golf commu- nity got the chance to finally meet again in person at the Fall Field Days East and West, the first time we have hosted 2 regional tournaments. The Fall Field Days were an excellent opportunity for superintendents, assistants and industry partners to reconnect and compete during the tournaments.
In the East, the Quebec Government’s COVID-19 restrictions did not dampen the spirts and comradery. Hosted by Summerlea Golf and Country Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion on September 14th, participants were treated to presenta- tions by Mark Lane on his award-win- ning environmental project and Ryley Scott’s overview of the Golfmax program. The Toro Company spon- sored beverages after the round and a delightful memories of Quebec basket for attendees in lieu of their traditional reception. Thanks to Syngenta for providing a delicious breakfast prior to the round and lunch on the course for all golfers.
