Following quickly after the East tournament in Quebec, Canmore Golf & Curling Club in Alberta hosted the Fall Field Day West. On September 21st, the event kicked off with a Welcome to Alberta reception at the Canmore Brewing Company sponsored by the Alberta Golf Superintendents Association. An education program followed with a presentation by Jennifer Barroll, Corporate Leadership Consultant on business communications followed by the 9-hole par 3 best ball tournament at Canmore Golf & CC.
Following the 9-hole event, the CGSA Toro Reception was held at the club. Golfers were able to gather and reconnect after so many months. Thank you to all participants who were happy to abide by the newly implemented COVID-19 restrictions in the province of Alberta.
Accolades were made during the Syngenta Awards Dinner and congratulations go to Pierre Vezeau, AGS from Cooke Municipal Golf Course, the overall low net champion with a score of 67 and Brock Coates, AGS from The Glencoe Golf & Country Club with a low gross championship with a score of 75.
