It Takes A Village To
The NGCOA Canada was created in 1993, but it was 28 years ago that the idea of an association to support the business side of golf was formed. It all started with one man, Mark Seabrook, owner of the Canadian Golf & Country Club, located just outside of Ottawa. You can read about Mark in the feature article in this magazine and if you flip to the end of this issue, Mark shares his original vision with our readers in the Parting Shot.
Grow An Association
It is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank Mark for not only his vision, but his 28 years of continued service and dedication. He has been our national president, a chapter president, has served multiple years on the national and chapter boards and was voted by his peers on the NGCOA Canada Board in 2006 as a Lifetime Board Member. It never gets stale for Mark and his passion for this industry doesn’t falter.

The dedication and devotion of the NGCOA Canada staff to our membership is incredible. In fact, almost 50% of our current team have been with the association for at least 10 years!
