Vegas Fun Days
Theatre Under The
Stars
Blessed with a large, open, park-like area (previously our 10th fairway), our leadership team came up with the idea of “Theatre Under the Stars.” The event was free with a donation of a non-perishable food item to our local Columbia Valley Food Bank, and was attended by over 500 people who may have never had the opportunity or rea- son to visit our property.
The revenue-generating side of the event was “Dinner & A Movie” on our expansive patio overlooking the movie screen. Our restaurant took nearly 150 reservations and offered a pasta buffet for this sold out portion of the event. Eric Thorsteinson CCM, PGA of Canada, General Manager

On Monday and Tuesday afternoons, we offer Vegas Fun Days: a 9-hole fun league from 3pm that is open to members, guests, and public golfers. The emphasis is on fun! Our radio ads invite you to tee it up in the fairway, kick it out from under the tree, or re-do a missed putt.
At the end of the year, we are giving away a trip to Las Vegas to one lucky winner and odds of winning are enhanced by participation. On Vegas Fun Days, each participant spins our Vegas Style Prize Wheel – anything from ‘try again’ to extra year-end draw tickets, to golf or merchandise related prizes are up for grabs. Weekly prizes of sleeves of balls are given away by draw.
In the restaurant, we feature beer & wine specials, multi-dish appetizer specials, plus offer a basic cheeseburger and fries for $9.99 (or a savings of $3 of any of our gourmet burgers from our menu). Eating a meal also gives participants an additional year end draw ticket.
