A friend in need………
Athar was brilliant student with limited friends. Though a
topper, his inorganic chemistry knowledge was particularly
superb.
Our drawing room was always available for combined studies
during M.Sc-1.
Athar helped me understanding concepts of inorganic
Chemistry. Born teacher, his explanations were so magical that
even complex numerical looked cake-walk.
Inorganic exam paper was pretty tough; however, Athar‟s
engraved knowledge helped. I scored maximum; even more
than Athar. It was like “गुरु गुड़ रह गया और चेऱा शक्कर हो गया (Guru
remained jaggery & disciple became sugar)”
However, shall always indebted to him as “A friend in need is a
friend indeed”.
