That Contagious Smile…
Telegram crossed several hands before reaching me informing
birth of my daughter. Colleagues congratulated and treat was
promised.
Reached Sitapur in early morning and rushed to hospital after
getting sanitized.
Though met wife, but was informed that due to some
unfavorable celestial influence I cannot see my daughter for
next three months. Disappointed returned back and
impatiently waited.
It was spring, flowers blooming and there was something
special in air. Reached Lucknow by night bus.
Saw my daughter first time who smiled at me as if I passed the
test of patience…….smile was contagious and got imprinted
permanently on my heart.
