Their Gods………
During PhD days, I joined Society of Young Scientists.
Apolitical society, they also printed magazine with articles on
various issues.
I also published an article wherein I speculated a scientist
working on human clones. Experiments failed resulting into
deformed life forms. Scientist got afraid of backlash and as
safeguard he named them as Gods. Innocent people resorted
to praying; the sharper ones minted money by making big
temples of different life forms.
Article stirred hornet‟s nest. Goons from specific community
threatened me for insulting “Their Gods”.
Nothing happened as I had university political connections
and issue died with passage of time……
