Overview

By deploying the APPSSP2013HTCWatermark.wsp solution to a SharePoint 2013 farm, activating the
required features and configuring the General Watermark Settings in Central Administration, and
activating the HTC Watermark feature in site collections, you can deploy the HTC Watermark feature in
the site collections by enabling and configuring watermark settings for each individual Document library
within these site collections and configuring the permission control on the usage of the documents in
the libraries. When the watermark feature is enabled for a library, you can add text or image as
watermark to the document background when users open documents online, print, or download
documents from this library.

To deploy, configure settings for, and use the HTC Watermark feature, follow the procedures below:

1. Installing the APPSSP2013HTCWatermark.wsp Solution in the SharePoint Farm

3. Activating the HTC Watermark Retention Farm Feature

6. Activating the HTC Watermark Feature in Site Collection
7. Configuring Watermark Related User Groups in Site Collection

8. Enabling and Configuring Watermark Settings in Library
9. Installing Keynote File Convertor for HTC Watermark Feature

10. Opening/Downloading/Printing Documents in the Library with Watermark Enabled
