There are no accidents in nature. There are no random
coincidences.
It was the Suklapaksha Ekadasi Day of December 3, 1889, the
most auspicious and apt day of Gita Jayanti, that heralded the
birth of a great and sublime son of India.
Gita Jayanti marks the birthday of the Bhagavad Gita, the
Celestial Song, a priceless gift by Sri Krishna to humanity for
all times.
Sri Tapovan Jayanti celebrates the life of our deeply revered
Swami Tapovanji Maharaj, a saint, a scholar par excellence, an
inspiring poet revelling in the lap of nature, a strict and
compassionate teacher, who breathed and lived Vedanta through
each and every pore of his being.
The ‘Queen of Scriptures’ dispels ignorance and bestows divine
qualities. She states the goal of life and gives clear and concise
instructions on how to reach it. ‘The Glory of the Himalayas’,
Tapovanji Maharaj, gave humanity our very own, dearly beloved
Gurudev, whose exposition of the Gita ranks among the finest
in the world.
On this day, we offer our humble prostrations to Mother Gita
and pray for steadfast courage, faith and wisdom. May we
constantly endeavour to imbibe and practice Her teachings.
We offer our grateful prostrations to Swami Tapovanji Maharaj
and the entire Guru Parampara from Lord Siva to Pujya Guruji.
May we remain dedicated to the perennial flow
of knowledge, devotion and service.
May Pujya Gurudev’s blessings be with
each and everyone.
