INT. CAR - DAY
FRANCIS KEANE, a 21-year-old with brown hair, a beard stub,
glasses and dirty farmer’s clothes, sits in his old car and
stares at a map of Monastery in his hands. The map has
several red crosses drawn on it.
ALBERT (V.O.)
This is my youngest son, Francis.
He’s a strange man. I love him to
bits, don’t get me wrong, but I
sure am glad I have to love him
from a distance.
Francis is startled by the loud TAPPING on the window.
Outside, David makes a funny face and sticks his tongue out
at him, before walking off. Francis ignores this, rolling his
eyes.
ALBERT (V.O.)
Francis isn’t too close to his
nephews. In his defense, they’re
always going out of their way to
annoy him. They’d be smart to leave
him alone.
Francis opens the glove compartment, folds the map up and
puts it inside - over a revolver.
ALBERT (V.O.)
Francis isn’t one to be messed
with.
He starts the engine and speeds off, leaving skid marks on
the road.
