January 2019
Four students and 2 adults traveled to New Delhi, India to spend three weeks in the International School to School Experience program with Bal Bharati School. Bethany students taught culture of the United States while soaking up the culture of India. The host families were amazing! They were very caring and could not do enough the make the visit comfortable and memorable. Bal Bharati School and the coordinators there worked very hard to make sure the visitors had the time of their lives. Favorite things were: Taj Mahal, Lotus Temple, the food, and the kindness of the people. Be sure to ask Ms. Boyd, Mrs. Kessler, Katie, Brandon, Hilary, and Mina about their trip! They did a wonderful job of representing Bethany! Ms. Boyd was heard to say that this was one of the best exchanges in all her many years of coordinating ISSE!
