TIME OF THE QUEEN

In 1970, Freddy, replacing his former classmate, joined the youth rock band
"the Smile" - Roger Taylor and Brian may. A year later, they were joined by
bass guitarist John deacon, and in this composition began a 20-year-old star
story of the legendary band called "Queen", which offered himself Freddy.

Mercury played a leading role in shaping the whole concept of the band,
including music: he is the author of the vast majority of songs, such as the lyrical
ballad «Love of My Life» (1975), the unique «Bohemian Rhapsody», as well as the
song «We Are the Champions» (1977), which became the anthem of sports fans.

In 1972, Freddy adds to his fictional name the pseudonym mercury,
which means «mercury»or» mercury, plastic.» In the same year
the band released their first album «the Trident», which suddenly
became popular. High-quality stadium rock and a variety of genres
in which the musicians worked, aroused delight among the listeners.

Mercury was not only an outstanding musician, but also an outstanding
actor. Thanks to it each concert of group turned into the real show:
its unique, so easily recognizable voice, was supplemented with
bright temperament, emotionality, plasticity. The band’s videos were
the result of mercury’s desire to combine theater and music, sound
and lighting effects – he was the author of most of the video scripts.
