e. Socialandciviccompetences(SC)
Social and civic competences involve the skill and ability to use knowledge and attitudes about society, whilst bearing in mind its multi-perspective, dynamic and complex nature. It also helps students understand it is important to learn to work with others and respect the opinions and work of other people.
f. Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship (SIE)
A sense of initiative and entrepreneurship implies the ability to transform ideas into action. This entails an understanding of the situation where intervention or action is required, and the ability to use one’s own judgement to utilise the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities or attitudes to achieve the desired goal. This competence is present in the personal, social, school and work environments in which people operate, allowing the students to take advantage of new opportunities.
g. Culturalawarenessandexpression(CAE)
The competence of cultural awareness and expression aims at having students become familiar with cultural and artistic expressions in their local area and also internationally. That they get to know other cultures with an open-mind and respectful approach. Their creative expressions should be a source of personal enrichment and enjoyment and as part of their cultural heritage.
