• Computer room with 25 computer workstations and an interactive white board for the teacher.
• Fully equipped classroom with computer, interactive whiteboard and speakers.
• English corner in the classroom, where students can publish their work.
• Video room for watching some videos.
• Library with English section, fully equipped with reference books (grammars,
dictionaries, etc.) as well as storybooks, readers (fiction and CLIL) and magazines.
• Other places in the school for special occasions or celebrations: canteen, gym (for
TPR activities), playground...
Finally, I will try to plan some kind of complementary activities in which I will use more places outside school like: theatre, sports centre, cinema, local library, zoo, auditorium, museum, local market...
On the other hand, there are some other aspects to deal with when talking about resources of the setting. The most important are the flexibility of form and function of the classroom space. I will try to change frequently some spaces of the classroom such as displays, different forms of sitting students (rows, lines, or groups)...
ICT Resources
My syllabus design promotes the use of ICT to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. I consider that using ICT can be an essential tool for English language learning, and for this reason, there is always a session in each unit in which students use technologies with the teacher and also independently to learn and practise English, as well as getting in teaching with the real world of English outside the classroom.
