groups. Both collaborative learning and ICT resources are used to help students develop their communicative skills in English. They are first presented with a sample blog and they then produce a blog themselves.
• Session 6 is meant to be a very student-centred lesson and the production stage focussed on oral production. I remind the students about the work they have done in the unit. They prepare briefly for an oral project in pairs or small groups. They then participate in a role-play that will allow them to use the new language and skills learned in the unit.
• Session 7 aims at revising the contents seen in the unit. It will revise both the key language of the unit (vocabulary, structures and communication functions) and the key competences.
• Session 8 is used to have students do the end of unit test as part of their formal evaluation.
• Session 9 is where students work on a Reading Project (Project 2) focuses on practising and promoting extensive reading skills. Students choose a fiction or facts reader from the Library, read it and complete the corresponding worksheets.
• Session 10 is devoted to working on a Digital Album (Project 3). Students individually complete a digital collage with pictures, photos and text in which they express what they have learnt or especially liked in the unit. They will have the opportunity to present their Digital Albums orally to the class throughout the course.
