• Decree 15/2007 of 19 April, which establishes the regulatory framework for coexistence in schools in the Community of Madrid (BOCAM 25/04/2007).
• Order 1028/2008, of 29 February, Education Department, through which evaluation in Primary Education (BOCAM 14/03/2008).
• Order 5958/2010, of 7 December, through which Bilingual State Schools are regulated.
Article 6 of the Organic Law 8/2013, of December 9 for the improvement of educational quality defines the curriculum as the regulation of the elements determining the teaching and learning processes for each subject and educational level. The curriculum is made up of the following elements:
1. The objectives refer to the targets students should reach by the end of the educational process, as a result of the learning-teaching experiences intentionally planned to this end.
2. Thecompetences,orcapacitytoapplyinanintegratedmannerthespecificcontents of each subject and educational phase, in order to perform activities satisfactorily, and efficiently resolve complex problems.
3. The contents, or sets of knowledge, abilities, strategies, skills and attitudes that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of each subject and educational phase and to the acquisition of competences. In Primary Education, the contents are ordered into subjects, which are classified into areas. These are studied via a global or cross-curricular approach.
4. Theteachingmethodology,whichincludesboththedescriptionofteachingpractice and the organisation of teachers’ work.
