This programming is divided into four main sections.
• Part 1: In the first section, we will refer to LOMCE, the current education law in
Spain, covering the contents and the assessment criteria for English as a Foreign
Language curriculum.
• Part 2: In the second section, I will describe the context of my specific
teaching and learning context describing the school, the cycle and the students.
• Part 3: A third section will describe the methodology used to plan and develop the
teaching programme in the specific teaching situation.
• Part 4: And finally, the last section schematically describes the contents of the
15 teaching units planned and developed for an academic year.
Part 1. English Area Curriculum Curricular Project
The following legal framework has been taken into account when preparing the present curricular teaching program:
• Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, of Education (BOE 4/05/2006).
• Organic Law 8/2013, of 9 December, for the Improvement of Quality in Education
(BOE 10/12/2013).
• Royal Decree 126/2014, of 28 February, by which the basic curriculum for Primary
Education is established (BOE 1/03/2014).
• Decree 89/2014, of 24 July, through which the autonomous region of Madrid
establishes the curriculum of the Primary Education (BOCAM 25/07/2014).
