◆ Enters first season with Angels in 2020 as a non-roster invitee to spring camp...In 55 MLB outings (42.1 IP, all in
relief) with Rays and Phillies, has a 3.40 ERA (42.1 IP - 16 ER) and .264 BAA (40/141).

19 ER) in first pro action that summer in 14 appearances (13 GS) between Single-A Williamsport and Lakewood .
◆ Pitched three seasons for University of Texas at Austin, posting a 17-9 record with four saves, a 2.44 ERA and .214
BAA...Majored in Physical Culture & Sports with a minor in Educational Philosophy.
◆ Drafted by Nationals in 44th Round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft out of Paschal High School (Fort Worth,
TX), but did not sign, opting to attend college...Also punted/kicked for a high school football season.
◆ His father, Brian, was selected by Blue Jays in seventh Round of 1978 Draft and became the first catcher to
bypass the minors and play in the Majors since the first amateur draft was held in 1965; played two games with
the Blue Jays—his only career Major League action; went on to serve as a hitting coach in Yankees organization
(1991-95) and a scout in the Cubs organization (1996–2007).
