KEITH TARTER HOME CLUB HOUSE MANAGER
In his 29th season in the organization, 2019 marks Keith’s ninth
consecutive year as the Angels' Equipment & Home Clubhouse
Manager. He first joined the organization in 1991, serving as a batboy
for three seasons (1991-93), before advancing to the clubhouse staff in
1994. After serving as the Angels Assistant Equipment Manager for 15
seasons, he was promoted to his current position in November 2009. front office
An Anaheim, CA native, Tarter graduated from Katella High School.
He attended Rancho Santiago Community College (Santa Ana, CA) before studying
landscape design at Fullerton Community College (Fullerton, CA).
Tarter and his wife, Lisa, reside in Corona, CA with twins, Kash and Emma.
VISITING CLUBHOUSE
BRETT CRANE MANAGER
Brett Crane enters his 20th season in the Angels organization and
first as Visiting Clubhouse Manager where he oversees clubhouse
accommodations for opponents at Angel Stadium.
Prior to his promotion, Crane spent the previous seven seasons as the
Club's Manager of Arizona Operations and Minor League Equipment.
In that role, he oversaw the day to day operations of the Club's Tempe
facility. He joined the Tempe staff following five seasons (2008-12)
working in various capacities with the organization's Single-A affiliate
in Orem, UT, including two seasons (2011-12) as the General Manager. During the 2006 and
2007 seasons, Crane would oversee the visiting clubhouse for Triple-A Salt Lake. He would
initially join the Angels organization in 2001 and worked for the former Provo Angels and
Orem Owlz in different roles up through the 2005 campaign.
A Utah native, Crane and his wife, Kami, have one son, Bennett and reside in Chandler,
AZ .
ASSISTANT EQUIPMENT
SHANE DEMMIT MANAGER
Shane began a career in baseball in 1995 working in stadium
operations for the Toronto Blue Jays’ Class-A affiliate in the South
Atlantic League (SAL). He then joined stadium operations at Tempe
Diablo Stadium (AZ) in 1997 and the Angels Major League Club as
a Clubhouse Attendant in 2004. Demmitt was promoted to Angels
Assistant Equipment Manager after the 2009 campaign.
A native of Maryland, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in sports
management from West Virginia University and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law
School. In February 2012, Demmitt was a contestant on MLB Network’s game show
Baseball IQ and ultimately won the competition, raising $45,000 in prize money for
the Angels Baseball Foundation. He resides in Irvine, CA and has been a member of the
California State Bar since 2002.
