angels IN THE COMMUNITY
The Angels are proud to support many local charitable organizations
and community groups throughout Orange County and the Greater Los
Angeles region. Through the combined efforts of the Angels and the Angels
Baseball Foundation, the team has been able to impact many people in
our community, specifically children, with life-changing opportunities for
them to thrive. Among the Angels’ notable beneficiaries are the Angels RBI
Program, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Orange County, Orangewood Children’s
Foundation, the AVID Program and Southern California Little Leagues.
The Angels have served more than 5,000 organizations, providing them
with positive experiences and resources, as well as allowing children to experience the remarkable
game of baseball during each regular season. For more information, please visit www.angels.com/

ANGELS BASEBALL FOUNDATION:
The Angels Baseball Foundation was established in 2004 under Arte Moreno. Together with the Los
Angeles Angels, the two organizations have contributed more than $24 million in value toward local
causes. Each year, the Angels Baseball Foundation rewards community organizations with grants under the halo
to benefit the individual needs, and to support programs that impact our youths. The Foundation
focuses on improving education, healthcare, arts and sciences, as well community related youth
programs throughout the region.
Angels Baseball Foundation Gala
In 2019, the Angels hosted the third Angels Baseball Foundation Gala at Pelican Hill Golf Club in
Newport Coast. The Gala included a casino night and provided the opportunity to be joined by a
current Angels player or an alumni for dinner. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to bid on a
variety of items including memorabilia and experiences during a silent and live auction. All proceeds
from the Gala benefited the Foundation.
