The Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter Membership Committee sponsored a Team EGO Tailgate
Party celebrating Membership and to kick-off the upcoming season of Sisterhood and Service.
Although it rained, there was no washout or team forfeiture! This collaborative event was a winner!
The event took place Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Marriott Hotel in Huntsville, AL. The program
began with the Sisterly Relations
Committee leading Sorors in a myriad of
AKA cheers. Soror Mildred Blackshear
presented gifts to the visiting Sorors and
Soror Robyn Jackson acknowledged the
reactivated/transferred Sorors with a
certificate. Next, Sorors Cheryl R. Davis
and Joy Agee spearheaded the One Million
Backpacks chant. Soror Sharon Boclair,
Membership Committee Mentoring Lead,
provided a general overview of our current
mentoring program. Finally, The Ivy Center
of Huntsville/Madison County Foundation
Inc. informed Sorors the importance of joining

Second Photo: Reactivated/Transferred Sorors can see, this was a multi-dimensional array of
collaboration and different endeavors

After the program, it was time for the Sisterhood fun to begin. With a tailgate setting, Sorors snacked
on popcorn in pink and green popcorn bags, hot dogs with the fixings, warm pretzels, and peanuts. Of
course, there were cakes – one with a pink helmet and the other with a green football. Also, DJ Temp
had Sorors on their feet for all the latest line dances!!!
