Merits
An amazing 77 medals were awarded during the KS3 end of year assembly, including two diamond medals! Lily S from 7L won the prize for the most medals in Y7,8 and 9 and 7P won the class prize for the most medals. Medals are awarded to students who demon- strate the 5R's, Respect, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Resilience and the ability to take Risks.

Physics Olympiad
Junior Challenge
Just before the end of the school year, 16 students from Y10 attempted the Junior Physics Challenge organized via Cam- bridge University. They attempted 2 x 25 minute on-line challenges on Physics in general on Monday 9 th May and Mon-
day 16 th May. It was the first time that this new event has been undertaken by students here at school in this new for- mat. After working so hard on this, I am pleased to be able to say that the following certificates were awarded to this group

2 PARTICIPATION
