So Why did daniel
leave Red Bull?

There were probably a couple of
influencing factors. Firstly, after using
Renault engines since 2007, Red Bull
will be powered by Honda for 2019 and
beyond. Although Honda has a rich
history in F1, its return with the McLaren
Team in 2015 and subsequently with Toro
Rosso has yet to see a Honda powered
car even make the podium.
Additionally there is the issue of his
team mate Max Verstappen. The fast,
but at times erratic wonder boy from The
Netherlands, appears to be favoured by
the Red Bull Team management and is
the only one of Daniel’s team mates to
ever finish higher than him in the F1 World
Championship standings, although Daniel’s
incredible run of car unreliability was also a
significant contributor.
In 2019 Daniel will be partnered by the
highly rated Nico (Hulk) Hulkenberg adding
further to his challenges.
