In order to create a good learning atmosphere in which students can process, internalize

                  and make the information theirs, some approaches will be used, such as the Functional
                  approach and Cooperative learning. Additionally, in this syllabus students will participate

                  in formative and summative assessment.

                  In this syllabus, students will work with academic writing which will help them achieve

                  A1 Level, described in the CEF, in which students will write an essay or report which
                  develops an argument systematically with appropriate highlighting of significant points

                  and relevant supporting detail.




                  Course General Objective:
                  Use the English language correctly and appropriately to accomplish communication goals.



                  Course Specific Objectives :
                  1.     Clarify ideas in the writing process
                  2.     Use different techniques in the writing process
                  3.     Apply  proper formatting in the creation of written works
                  4.     Write works of diverse nature
                  5.     Evaluate written works of other authors and edit them
