INTRODUCTION

Hello, my name is Tony Brayboy and I am the President of Matrix Wealth

Management.

For over 20 years, I've been helping people plan for their retirement. For

half of my career, I truly believed the stock market was the best way for my

clients to invest for retirement. I shared all the "Wall Street" conventional

wisdom with my clients, such as investing for the long-term, diversifying

stock-based investments, maxing out the 401(k) plan, etc.

Over the last decade, I've stepped back and truly evaluated the stock

market and all the promises of financial success if an investor just “hangs in

there and invests for the long-term."

I realized that many people are unwittingly being told "what to think" about

how the stock market really works. The goal of this book is to expose the

myths about the stock market and to show how it really works.
