The Knife Crime

Due to the many restrictions on firearms in

the UK, many criminals resort to knives,

swords, machetes and other blades to

carryout their evil intentions. This type of

violence has been and continues to plague

the streets of London Persons as young as 9

have been both responsible and have fallen

victim to such violence. The Met Police of

England have tried many ways to mitigate

this problem however the killings have been

only going up. This type of violence has

been repeatedly glorified in songs from the

Grime and English Drill genres and whilst

the police try to put restriction on this, the

song writers have found ways to get around

their laws which even includes the creation

of slangs.
