3.  Where does the modern English language come from? And why we

                                   can recognize words in Frisian?
                     The reason why we can recognize words is modern Frisian and modern English, is

                     because both languages come from the same language family, the Germanic family
                     of languages.

                                   Germanic tribes occur?

                     The West Germanic tribes who had been on the move through Europe for the best
                     part of 1,000 years settled in what we would call the Lowlands of northern Europe,

                     Holland, Germany, and Denmark.

                     The Romans were the first tribe that imposed their will in English coast.

                     "crag", meaning "rock",

                     "badger"
