Other on-campus assistance is available
from Western Arkansas Planning and
Development District (WAPDD), Western
Arkansas Community Development,
the River Valley Regional Food Bank,
Educational Opportunities Center (EOC),
Division of Workforce Services (DWS),
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program (SNAP), and Temporary
Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
Students can meet with a representative
from DWS in their mobile unit on the
CCAEC campus every second and fourth
Wednesday of the month for assistance
with resumes, cover letters, unemployment
insurance claims, job applications, mock
interviews, and more.
Students may schedule counseling
sessions with EOC representative Chad
Rogers to discuss college preparation,
Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) applications and other
scholarship/grant opportunities. SNAP and
TANF Caseworkers are available during
CCAEC hours to meet with students to
discuss assistance and training programs.
