VBSD recognizes the connection between the classroom, careers,
and community. Our students have access to college-level courses
and training opportunities and can earn college credit and
technical certifications before graduating high school. VBSD also
promotes workforce readiness by partnering with area businesses
to engage students and introduce them to the vast career
options in our region. Organizations establish relationships
through internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing and other
programs designed to develop skills and potential future
employees.
