brothers. He asked all the Eg tians to leave the room. When he was alone with his brothers, he told them in their own language, amidst tears of joy, that he was Joseph. He told them that it was by God's will that he had been sent to Egypt to save his father and brothers from famine. Then he sent his brothers back to Jacob to tell him of his success in Eg t, and to invite his father to come with all his fa ly to live in the land of Gessen.
Pharao, to show that he was pleased  th Joseph's invitation to his father and his brothers, sent wagons to Hebron to move their possessions to Egypt. He gave presents to all the brothers, but he was esĀ­ pecially generous to Benjamin. To Jacob he sent cloth-
