BETHANIA As !T LOOKS TODAY
where she lived with her sister, Martha, and Lazarus, her brother.
When Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He M  stopped in Bethania at the home of Mary and Martha. :!rm They greeted Him joyfully, and Mary sat at His feet
and listened to every word that He spoke. Meanwhile, Martha was busy preparing a meal for Jesus. Seeing Mary sitting at the feet of the Savior, she complained
to Him and said, ''Lord, hast Thou no care that my sister hath left me alone to serve 1 Speak to her and tell her to help me." Jesus, answering, said to her, "Martha, Martha, thou art careful and art troubled about many things. But one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, and it shall not be taken away from her.''
