JESUS DRIVES OUT THE DEVIL
en the men who were tending the herd saw this, they were lled with fear and ed away. The news of what had happened spread to the city and to all the villages round about. Crowds of people came down to the seashore, and there they found the man out of whom the devils were driYen seated at the feet of Jesus, fu y clothed and in bis r ght mind.
The Gerasens did not want Jesus to remain in their country. They were afraid of His power, and the men who owned the swine resented their loss. They begged Him to go away, so He entered the ship and told the apostles to row back to Capharnaum.
