The Pharisees looked and saw what Jesus had writ­ ten. Then they began to go away, one by one, begin­ ning with the eldest, and Jesus and the woman alone remained.
Then Jesus, raising Himself up, said to her, "Woman, ·where are they that accuse thee? Hath no man condemned thee?'' She answered, ''No man, Lord.'' Jesus said, ''Neither will I condemn thee. Go now, and sin no more.''
