JESUS WASHES PET 's FEET
It was Peter at whose feet He knelt rst. But Peter said, '' Lord, dost Thou wash my feet 1'' Jesus said, "What I do, thou knowest not now. But thou shalt know hereafter." Peter said to Him, "Thou shalt never wash my feet.'' Jesus answered him, ''If I wash thee not, thou shalt have no part with Me.'' Hearing this, Peter said, "Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head." But Jesus said, "He that is washed needeth not but to wash his feet, but is clean olly. And you are clean. But not all of you,''
for He knew who it was that would betray Him.
After He had washed the feet of all His apostles, Jesus put on His garment once more and sat down.
