ELIEZER SPEAKS TO REBECCA AT THE WELL
Laban, came to the well. She was the grandchild of Nachor, who was Abraham's brother. She lled her pitcher and was going back, when the servant ran to meet her and asked her for a drink of water. She replied, "Drink, my lord, and I will draw water for thy camels also.''
Eliezer was lled with joy. He gave her golden earrings and bracelets and asked her who she was and whether he could stay at her father's house. She told him that she was the daughter of Bathuel, and that they had ample accommodations for himself and his camels. She then ran home to tell the family about him and to prepare for his coming. en Laban
