Students to write a reflective journal after each assessment task, capturing their reflections.

Reasons for this activity:
1. Reflections assist learners to learn from a unit of content.
2. Reflections primary purpose is to explore experience, enhance understanding and to improve future thinking, actions, and experiences.
3. “Reflective prompts” assist students to focus on one aspect of learning and promotes critical thinking (Pena & Almaguer, 2012).
4. Reflective writing assist students in improving writing skills.
5. Guided reflective writing promotes students to reflect on their thinking and how to solve problems (Dunlap C., 2006).
