Therefore, if something goes wrong and we lose our faith in someone we trust (e.g., a co-worker or a family member), we must search for ways to restore that mutual faith in one another and rebuild our bridge of trust.
Friendliness—This is an important attribute that we must adopt in our workplaces, our homes, and everywhere we go. When we sincerely demonstrate friendliness, we carry God’s blessings by displaying a welcoming spirit to- ward everyone. We are part of God’s Angelic Army, open to serving everyone in our workplace, our family members, and our friends. A friendly person is outgoing, welcoming, pleasant, social, and gracious in word and in deed.
Discretion—This involves using caution in all of our words and actions. We must think before we speak, lis- ten before we act, and take note of the consequence of our words and deeds. Everything has a cause and effect, and we must ensure that as we project ourselves on the world and interact with others, we do so in a respectful, discreet, careful, and loving manner.
Responsibility—This reflects our measure of ac- countability for all we undertake in our lives for and on be- half of others and ourselves. For example, when we make a promise, we must fulfill it without the hope of special recognition or reward. In other words, the fulfillment of our promise must be a natural consequence of our innate kindness, given from our hearts. God then rejoices that we are carrying out our mission in the way the Supreme Being intended.
Reasonableness—When we exhibit the quality of rea- sonableness, we demonstrate that we are fair and sensible in our dealings with everyone. Of course, being reasonable does not mean that we allow others to take advantage of our kindness. We simply act according to the gifts that God has given us in a rational, sensible manner, and we
