               You may have heard some “horror stories” about reverse mortgages.

               I started Best Mortgage way back in 1992, and for many years I believed the horror stories
               myself and that’s why I did not offer the reverse mortgage program to my clients.

               But when I finally took the time to get past the myths about reverse mortgages, I discovered
               that it is a fantastic loan program that offers senior homeowners a way to access the valuable
               equity in their homes without having to sell their home or take out a traditional mortgage that

               requires monthly payments.

               In short, it may be a perfect loan for homeowners 62 years old and older who are “house rich
               but cash poor.”

               But you don’t have to be “poor” to take advantage of a reverse mortgage. We recently closed a
               reverse mortgage for a client whose home appraised for $1.28 million dollars!

               There are many great uses for the reverse mortgage program … so what about all those “horror
               stories” you may have seen?
