Connecting With Other Patients

During your treatment at the Center, you may wish to connect with others who are going through proton therapy or have
completed treatment. Patient Services can make these arrangements for you.

Patient Graduation

We celebrate each patient’s treatment completion with a graduation ceremony. At graduation, you will receive a
diploma and a coin with a number that is unique to you. Your physicians and Care Team will attend whenever possible
to celebrate your treatment completion. Patients may share a few words about their experiences if they wish. After
graduation, if you’d like to share your story with patients considering proton therapy, or if you’d be willing to offer
support to them before or during treatment, let the Concierge know.

Dine Around

The Dine Around is a weekly lunch or dinner coordinated by Patient Services where patients and families can get to know one
another. Patient Services will find a local restaurant and coordinate logistics, but patients and families will pay their own way.

Center Activities

Patient Services offers a multitude of activities for patients and their families while they are treated at the Center.
These activities are a great way for patients to network with each other, share stories, and better understand how the
Center operates. From tours to meet-and-greets, crafts to art therapy, Patient Services is here to make you feel warm,
welcome, engaged, and a part of our Center family.

Facebook and Facebook Support Group

The Center has a public Facebook page that shares updates at the Center, wellness information, industry news and more.
The Center also has a private Facebook group which is available to patients who are undergoing or have undergone
treatment. This closed group is a place for patients to share information or updates with other patients, or to get to know
each other. Please friend our public site and see Patient Services to connect to our private group.
