y Fundraising Activities. Information regarding the organization’s
fundraising plans, including how it plans to raise funds and in which
jurisdictions it will undertake such activities.
y Grantmaking Activities. If the organization will be making grants to
other organizations:
y Copies of any grant agreements;
y A description of grant records;
y Information regarding the selection process, including whether
a grant proposal or application is required; and
y A description of procedures for oversight of distributions to
ensure that resources are used for tax-exempt purposes (e.g.,
conducting pre-grant inquiry and/or requiring periodic or final
reports regarding the use of grant funds).
y Scholarships or Grants. If the organization will have a scholarship or
grant program:
y A description of how potential applicants will hear about the
program;
y A description of eligibility requirements;
y A sample of required application form(s);
y A description of the selection process, including a description of
any selection committee and how members are chosen;
y Any guidelines prepared for the selection committee’s use;
y Conditions placed upon grants or scholarships, including any
requirements for reports and a description of action that will be
taken if the terms of the grant are violated; and
y Records the organization keeps regarding its grants or
scholarships.
