Youth Program Breaks in May and August. No weekly/monthly programs for
kids or teens.
WEEKLY
Storytimes: Mondays at 10:30 am and 11:00 am (ages 0-2), Tuesdays and
Wednesdays at 10:30 am (ages 2-5)
Gaming: Mondays 4:30 pm (ages 9-18). Alternates Pokemon, board games, and
video gaming on the WiiU and PS4.
Afterschool Fun. Wednesdays at 4:30 pm (ages 5-11). Crafts, games, and fun
activities for school-age kids.
Teen Thursdays: Thursdays at 4:00 pm creating, building, and tinkering. Grades
6-12.
Tai Chi: Fridays from 10:00 - 11:15 am Low-impact exercise; wear comfortable
clothing; Ages 16+
BI-WEEKLY:
Adulting 101: Every other Wed. Sept. 12 – Dec. 19 (break for Thanksgiving), 6:30
- 7:30 pm, Ages 14+, A series of workshops focused on the skills and resources
necessary for successful adulthood. Topics include, but are not limited to: job
hunting, car repair, financial basics, and cooking. Check our calendar for specific
dates and topics.
MONTHLY:
Make It! Craft Club: Second Tues., 7:00 - 8:00 pm, Ages 16+ Get crafty and make
something new each month! All materials provided; take home what you make!
Thursday Afternoon Read: Second Thurs., 2:00 – 3:00 pm, Ages 18+ Join us for
a lively discussion of the book of the month. Contact Marina for information on
monthly titles (mrose@cityofcaldwell.org).
Crafter’s Club: Third Fri. starting on May 18, 2:00 - 3:30 pm, Ages 18+, Come work
on your craft projects with other people – knit, crochet, embroider, you name it!
Homeschool Book Club: Oct. – May. Second Tues., 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Readers age
6-18. Contact Fiona for information on books and groups (fmay@cityofcaldwell.

Drop-in Computer Clinic: First Thursday, 10:30 - 11:30am, All Ages, Drop in for
computer or technology help!
SPECIALS:
Moms & Marshmallows: Sat. Sept. 8, 11-12, All Ages, We will be making things out
of marshmallows! Moms and kids of all ages are welcome. We will also be serving
snacks of some sort (cookies or muffins probably).
Learn the Library: Sept. 20 & Oct. 18, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, All Ages, Learn about the
library’s resources and how to use them!
Banned Books Film Screening: Tues. Sept. 25, 6:30 - 8:45 pm, Ages 18+, in
celebration of the annual Banned Books Week, we will be screening and discussing
the film “Bless Me, Ultima” based on the book of the same title.
Beekeeping for New-Bees: Mon. Oct. 1, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, Ages 18+, learn the basics
of beekeeping and how you can get started.
Paranormal Investigations: Sat. Oct. 20, 2:00 – 3:00 pm, All Ages, Listen to real life
ghost stories from the Panoptic Paranormal Investigators.
Crochet 101: Tues. Oct. 23 and Nov. 27, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, Ages 10+, Learn crochet
basics with a fun, easy project.
Encore Theatre Carolers: Thurs. Nov. 29, 6:30 - 7:15 pm, The Dickensian-themed
“Encore Theatre Carolers” will be performing a variety of holiday-themed carols. Fun
for all ages! Snacks will be served.
Edible Book Contest: Sat., Dec. 15, 2:00 – 4:00 pm, All Ages, Make a cake or dessert
of your favorite holiday-themed book or book character and compete for People’s
Choice award. Cake tasting to follow the contest. Amateurs only please.
