“I work with patients and say: ‘OK, here is what you used to be able to do and here is
what you want to do now. What do we have to do to get you back at it?’” “I practiced

get patients on track to their fully-functioning selves.
                                                                           from Whidbey Island. I’m hoping
Coming from a large urban area to a rural healthcare setting is a big
change both personally and professionally and Dr. Idjadi is beyond that those patients who traveled
excited. all that way will realize that they

I’m very impressed with the new wing and all the hard work going on
behind the scenes here,” Dr. Idjadi says. forward to doing my part.”
Dr. Idjadi says there is a misconception about smaller communities and ~ Dr. Jeremy Idjadi

place where he or she lives, that will be reflected in their care.
“Patients can become lost in a larger healthcare facility and, also, providers have to be more accountable to their
patients in a smaller community because, well, they are neighbors.”

           Thank You And Farewell

It is with mixed emotions we bid farewell to two valuable providers, who have both moved
                                   off-island to pursue new experiences.
Farewell to longtime Primary Care provider Dr. Christopher Bibby, who practiced on
Whidbey Island for more than 20 years. A former hospital Chief of Staff, and clinic medical
director, Dr. Bibby helped form our hospitalist program, which manages the care of acutely
ill hospitalized patients. Dr. Bibby has been well-respected in the community for his years
of service treating a wide swath of patients from both the north, central and south ends of
the island. We wish him all the best
as he leaves the island to find new
                                   professional experiences.
                                   Farewell, too, to our medical
                                   director of radiology, Dr. Robert
                                   Hawkins, after providing 11
                                   dedicated years at WhidbeyHealth
Dr. Christopher Bibby Medical Center. Dr. Hawkins
                                   has been immensely beneficial
to our Diagnostic Imaging department and his team has the
utmost respect for this special doctor. We will miss his reliable
expertise, but wish him all the best in his future endeavors off
the island. Dr. Robert Hawkins, center front, surrounded by his staff.
