parents or for the father’s weak sperm being able to sire
children, in order to render the child kosher and discount
the doubt of mamzerus, provided that nothing unseemly
has been noticed about the mother’s conduct.
2. Test results that establish facts based upon interpretation
must be regarded as inconclusive, with the exception of
cases where the results are clearly visible or that resemble
the test conducted by Rav Saadia Gaon.
3. Therefore in the case under consideration: a God-fearing
physician confronted with such a case should approach an
expert halachic authority and present him with the details
of the case, according to which the decision will be made as
to whether it is necessary to inform the relevant parties.
