Bidding Prayers

Fr. Jeff: Dear brothers and sisters, let us accompany this new family with our
prayers, that the mutual love of this couple may grow daily and that God
in his kindness will sustain all families throughout the world.

Jean: We pray for Victoria and Thomas as they begin married life together. May
their home be filled with happiness and love and may God bless them and
keep them safe.

Fr Jeff: Lord in your Mercy.
All: Hear our prayer.
Julie: We pray for the families and friends of Thomas and Victoria.
We give thanks for their constant love and support.

Fr Jeff: Lord in your Mercy.
All: Hear our prayer.
Siobhán: We pray for those that due to poor health cannot be with us today.
Let us give thanks for our own blessings and the gifts of life and health,
and pray for all of those suffering due to illness.
Fr Jeff: Lord in your Mercy.
All: Hear our prayer.

Eamonn: We remember the smiles and laughter
of those who have gone before us,
especially Victoria’s mother Margaret
and Thomas’s grandmother Jean,
who would have loved to share in the joy and happiness of this day.
We thank God for the happy memories they have left with us
and ask God to give them eternal rest.

Jemma: Let us ask Mary, the mother of God,
who interceded at the marriage feast at Cana
to pray with us today as we say:
All: Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death
