Introduction
This book came about after I had an experience
where in the space of a month I was admitted to 3
hospitals had 3 invasive heart surgeries and 1 open
heart surgery. Being bedridden for most of the time
I had lots of time to think while lying on my back
about who I was as a “Believer” as a husband,
father, grandfather and father-in-law I had to take
a deeper look at my Identity and during this time I
started to reminisce on my journey from childhood
to where I am today. Being born-again for 34 years
I’ve seen many seasons come and go, many people
rise and fall, the migration of the church from
Pentecostal to Charismatic to the present Apostolic
move.
During this time I have seen how the church
manipulated and abused its people. The church
became so conformed to the world that to the
onlooker it was merely two versions of the same
