Mechanical Solutions invests in all of the latest software programs for operating any construction project. For
example: Prolog for cost control / project management, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Quickpen for design construction,
and ComputerEase for accounting purposes. As Mechanical Solutions continues to grow, we will enhance our
technical capabilities.

Work Acquisition
A top priority for Mechanical Solutions is to align itself with clients that share our integrity, passion, and excellence
in reputation. Leads will typically be generated from our name recognition, marketing initiatives, subcontractor
referrals, past clients, suppliers, and continuing relationships.

Keeping consistent with Mechanical Solutions published plan for acquiring work, we will:
• Identify and qualify the client
• Conduct early strategy/requirement meeting
• Prepare preliminary budgets to ensure the client has the appropriate funding
• Assemble and coordinate the team
• Prepare and deliver the proposal

Pre-Construction
Pre-Construction service is estimating, scheduling, value engineering and team coordination at the very beginning
of a project. Pre-Construction generally lasts from the start of schematic design and is complete when the bids
are awarded. It is generally at this stage that a project’s eventual success is determined. The innovative planning,
team building, and attention to service prepare everyone involved with the project for a successful outcome.

There are a considerable number of activities that must be performed during the planning stages of a project:
• Conceptual drawing review
• Cost estimates, establishing cost control targets
• Budget and schedule planning reports
• Design review
• Value engineering
• Bid packaging - if the project is to be fast-tracked, the early development of the bid package is specially
important
• Business initiative development programs - EEO/MBE/WBE
• Program Development; contracts, insurance, bonding
