The belief in Jade in luck and fortune was spreadably. Jade became a favourite material for the crafting of Chinese. it was crafted in to sacred things to empower it. So it became very popular as an ornament for all kind of people in china from the emperors to the scholars.
However, in the past using jade in crafting was not easy at all. Jade is very hard but fragile. So in the past they would be crafted only by skilled artisans who could create the most beautiful piece’s to art
Jade is popular in Chinese culture. Thailand who is the neighbourhood of China is also interested in using them in many precious ways. There are many buddha image or sacred thing that moulded and crafted in Thai style. the Emerald buddha which is housed in the Wat Phra Kaew on the grounds of the Grand Palace in Bangkok. It is the most outstanding one and it is also considered the palladium of the Kingdom of Thailand.
