            General Cleaning
All-Purpose Cleaner
• Store in a spray bottle.
• In the spray bottle, mix 1 tbsp (15 ml) baking soda with 3 cups water. In a glass, combine the following ingredients:
 1⁄2 tbsp (7.5 ml)
  white vinegar
 1 tbsp (15 ml)
   tea tree essential oil
   1 tbsp (15 ml)
 peppermint essential oil
 1⁄2 cup (125 ml)
   water
Pour into spray bottle using a funnel and mix well. Make large batches of this inexpensive cleaner and store in a clean, reusable, labeled container.
Tea tree oil is a powerful antibacterial, while peppermint oil is both antibacterial and antifungal and leaves behind a refreshing minty scent. For lemon-scented or pine- scented cleaner, use 40 drops citronella essential oil, 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon oil, or 40 drops pine oil instead of peppermint oil. Replace the peppermint oil with 1 tbsp (15 ml) lavender essential oil to fill any room with the exquisite perfume of Provence!
Window and Glass Cleaner

 1 cup (250 ml)
  white vinegar
 8 drops
  citronella essential oil
 8 drops
   peppermint oil
   1⁄2 cup (125 ml)

   Using newspaper to clean windows
Wash windows with a sponge and soapy water and dry with a clean cloth. Spray with vinegar and water and wipe with newspaper for streak-free shine. Keep a cloth handy to wipe away ink smudges on lighter-colored window frames.
