In the Kitchen
Stovetop Cleaner
Combine 3 tbsp (45 ml) baking soda and 1 tbsp (15 ml) water. Use paste and a vinegar-soaked cloth to clean stovetop.
Oven Cleaner
Combine 1 cup (250 ml) baking soda and 1⁄4 cup (60 ml) sodium carbonate (washing soda).
Wipe the oven’s interior with a wet cloth and apply mixture to stains and spots. Leave for several hours.
Scrub with a vinegar-soaked cloth and rinse thoroughly.
Refrigerator and
Freezer Cleaner
Add 1 tbsp (15 ml) all-purpose cleaner to hot white vinegar or lemon juice. Thoroughly clean refrigerator walls, drawers, shelves, and doors twice a month for regular upkeep.
Dishwasher Cleaner
Pure vinegar
Pour a small amount of white vinegar into the dishwasher along with regular detergent.
