Italy
Much like the French, the Italians are somewhat proud of their viticulture. Italy is unquestionably one of the hardest wine countries to fully understand and it can be quite overwhelming. There are 20 main regions and they all offer incredibly different styles of wines so it’s important to try and gain a further understanding of which grapes are planted where. Below we have listed the predominant grape varietals planted in each of the main regions.
